We are seeking to hire a faculty member affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities who will be responsible for teaching both university-wide general education English courses and specialized courses in the Department of English.

仕事内容・職務内容
The successful candidate will be expected to teach university-wide general education English courses for students from all faculties, as well as specialized courses in the Department of English within the Faculty of Humanities. The teaching load will be approximately six 90-minute classes per week.

Associate Professor
Annual Salary : 6 million yen ~ 9 million yen

Holidays : Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, the year-end and New Year holidays (December 28 to January 4), the summer break (August 13 to 15), and other holidays designated by the University President.
Overtime and other explanations : In principle, working and break hours shall be as described above. Nevertheless, under the professional discretionary labor system, the faculty member may adjust their working hours based on the requirements of their responsibilities. Break times can also be changed accordingly. Upon consenting to this system, an eight-hour workday will be assumed.

M. A. Degree or higher; applicants with only an M. A. Degree should also have at least three years of post-degree research experience or have sufficient teaching and research experience.

Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
1. Ability to conduct classes in English.
2. Ability to carry out educational and administrative duties. If Japanese is not the first language, the applicant must have Japanese language proficiency to the extent that it does not hinder the performance of duties.
3. Once hired, the applicant must be able to reside in Fukuoka City or the surrounding area.
