仕事内容・職務内容
(1)Academic and administrative Duties
Responsible for teaching, research, entrance examinations, administrative support for the Faculty, and other duties as assigned by the Faculty Dean and/or the Department Chair.
(2)Courses in Charge
Academic Skills, Overseas Field Studies (including program development), Courses related to Global Studies, Advanced Seminar 1, 2, and 3, Senior Research & Thesis, and other courses in the Global Studies subfield.

Working hours :08:50-18:50
Overtime and other explanations : Working hours include possible teaching periods, as follows: Period 1: 8:50–10:30; Period 2: 10:45–12:25; Period 3: 13:25–15:05; Period 4: 15:20–17:00; Period 5: 17:10–18:50.
Actual working hours depend on teaching schedules, meetings and other duties of faculty members.

Qualifications
（１）Applicants must have experience, knowledge, and motivation in the development of the Overseas Field Studies program, as well as in teaching and research. Applicants should possess sufficient English skills to communicate with overseas partners.
（２）Applicants should, in principle, have attained at least a Master's degree in Global Studies, e.g., Cultural Anthropology, International Cooperation, or a related field.
（３）Applicants whose native language is not Japanese must possess sufficient Japanese proficiency to carry out teaching and faculty administrative duties.

Research funding, leave, and employee benefits are provided in accordance with university regulations. The mandatory retirement age is 65.

選考内容
The application process comprises application document review and an interview (including a teaching demonstration). Interviews (of around 30 minutes, in both English and Japanese) and teaching demonstrations (of around 15 minutes, in Japanese) will be conducted on either Saturday, October 10, 2026 (preferred), or Monday, October 12, 2026. They will take place at Rikkyo University’s Ikebukuro campus, and, in principle, will be face-to-face. Online interviews will be considered only upon application.
※Transportation expenses for in-person interviews will not be paid. -
結果通知方法
Applicants who passed the document review will be invited for interviews by Wednesday, September 30, 2026, via email.
