Content of job information |
Prof. Zettsu lab is seeking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher at Shinshu University, for the NEDO project on battery materials. The project is focusing on the surface functionalization of battery materials (in LIB, SIUB, and Solid state batteries) for the enhancement of power densities and safeties. In addition to surface processing of the active materials, you will further engage general structural analysis, surface analysis (XPS, AES), and electrochemical measurements, various operand measurement methods (such as XRD, FT-IR, and confocal microscope observation), and battery simulators in order to analyze the ion transport reaction that occurs at the interface between the electrolyte (and the solid electrolyte).
The project will run for almost two years, funded by NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization). Your task would be to develop battery materials that can be installed in high power batteries with long term stability and products many of academic achievements, including Scientific papers with high IF (>10).
The post is available for two years, for which we offer a competitive salary.
