Supplementary explanation of compensation
Compensation - This position is offered under annual salary scheme that is designed to appoint a highly qualified research scientists with expected annual salary ranging up to JPY 15,000 k commensurate with previous achievements and experience. A monthly pay includes work responsibility allowance, overtime allowance, commuting allowance and the like in accordance with AIST Salary policy.
Work Hours - Work hours vary depending on working time system (flex-time system, discretionary working time system or standard working time system).
Days-Off and Leave - Official days-off are Sundays, Saturdays, public holidays, New Year holidays (from December 29 to January 3) and the days specified by the President separately. Annual leave is provided in accordance with AIST Rules of Employment.
Benefits - Enrolled with the mutual aid association of METI that provides Health insurance, Pension, Employment Insurance, Workers'Compensation.

We are seeking to recruit research scientists to join NEC-AIST AI Cooperative Research Laboratory that aims to develop integration of simulation and artificial intelligence technologies.

This job opportunity is for cooperative research laboratory between NEC and AIST for integration of simulation and AI technologies. The successful applicants are expected to have expertise in simulation, data mining, machine learning, automatic inference, multi-agent system, game theory, automatic negotiation, artificial intelligence or other related technologies.
*Applicants with previous experience and significant achievements in the relevant research fields are welcome, regardless of whether they earned a Ph.D. degree or not.
