Job details:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Laser Science Laboratory at Toyota Technological Institute in Nagoya, Japan. We are developing unique fiber based mid-infrared laser systems and are utilizing these novel systems for fundamental and applied research such as optical manipulation and mid-infrared imaging with an advanced microscope.
Dr. Tetsuhiro Kudo, Lecturer, is looking for a postdoctoral researcher from a fund of his tenure track research project. Currently, we are exploring a research field of optical manipulation utilizing the mid-infrared laser techniques for molecule sorting, efficient opto-thermophoresis, and other possibilities. We are looking for an independent, creative and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher interested to join our laboratory and conduct the optical manipulation experiment with the new mid-infrared lasers.
