Research Field:
Organic chemistry, inorganic/coordination chemistry, physical chemistry, biomolecular chemistry, analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, functional solid state chemistry, energy-related chemistry, etc. We are seeking for a capable scientist in chemistry and chemistry-related fields regardless of the division name (division of applied molecular chemistry).
Requirements: The candidate should have internationally prominent research achievements in her field and a strong desire to explore new fields based on her own ideas. The candidate is highly recommended to collaborate with researchers of IMCE as well as those of other institutions.

Education Field:
The successful candidate will be in charge of education in the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Sciences, Kyushu University (See http://www.scc.kyushu-u.ac.jp/e-home.html).

Required Applicant Documents:
The documents should be prepared on sheets of A4 paper.
(1) Curriculum vitae (including photo and E-mail address).
(2) Achievement reports: All publications should be divided into the following categories.
(a) journal papers (the presence or absence of peer review should be specified);
(b) review papers, books, bulletins;
(c) proceedings;
(d) patents (applied or registered should be specified);
(e) invited lectures; and
(f) others. All authors (with the same order as that in the publication) should be shown for each publication, and the candidate should be underlined. The main papers within ten (10) should be marked with “○."
(3) Reprints of the main papers within ten (10). The copy can be accepted.
(4) Summary of research achievements (within two (2) A4 pages) and future plan of your research and education at Kyushu University (within two (2) A4 pages).
(5) External funds (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, research grants, research scholarships, etc.) if the candidate has.
(6) Special matters (prizes and awards, invited lectures and other matters which can be appealed the research achievements with) if the candidate has.
(7) Two (2) recommendation letters. At least one recommendation letter should be provided by a researcher working in a country different from that of the applicant. For example, if the applicant is working in Japan, at least one recommendation letter should be provided by a researcher working outside Japan.
