[Job description]
We work on development of advanced materials for realizing carbon-neutral energy by using severe plastic deformation and high-entropy materials. The successful candidate should focus on the development of advanced photocatalysts by employing the concept of high-entropy materials as well as torsional straining. A good knowledge of chemistry and characterization of inorganic materials is required. Applicants with expertise on microstructural analysis, crystallography or catalysis are preferred. The successful candidate should have a high motivation for team working and should contribute to general activities of the laboratory.

PhD in chemistry, materials engineering or relevant fields with good speaking and writing skills in English.

Compensation

a. Salary: around 4.5 through 5 million JPY (Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.)
b. Contract period: until March 31, 2023 (Renewal of the appointment beyond the date shall be considered based on annual performance)
c. Working hours: discretionary labor system
d. Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National holidays, year-end and new year holidays(Dec.29-Jan.3), Annual paid leaves available
e. Insurance: Social insurance, Employment insurance
