The Keio University School of Medicine Project on Aging is looking for two researchers who are actively involved in the analysis of psychiatric and neurological disorders such as depression, dementia, and Parkinson's disease and the development of therapeutic methods targeting the non-visual photoreceptor OPN5.

[Job Description]
The successful candidate will participate in and promote the "Project for Regulation of Brain Functions by Non-visual Photoreceptor OPN5". We will support researchers to conduct behavioral tests using animal models, perform gene editing using CRISPR, control brain functions using Optogenetics, etc.
We look for a researcher who progress researche projects with many collaborators and lab members.

Qualifications

Applicants should obtain Ph.D. within 4 years or will graduate Ph.D. within next half year.
Applicants should be a expert of molecular biology and cellular biology who has an experience of mouse study.

Compensation

Salary and insurance will be followed by the rules of university (negotiable)

Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, summer break, year-end and new-year break, the anniversary of foundation holiday, and paid holidays
