  (1) Ph.D. in a relevant field by April 1, 2024.
  (2) Experience teaching at the university level.
  (3) Ability to teach undergraduate school classes and provide thesis guidance in English, and preferably with experience teaching students who use English as a second or other language.
  (4) Ability to contribute to the Global Studies portion of the curriculum of the faculty.
  (5) Ability to perform work related to the operation of the Dual Language Pathway program (which place an emphasis on courses conducted in English).
  (6) Have the Japanese language skills necessary for various university duties and operations.

  (1) Provide 3 published articles/chapters of research (photocopies are acceptable if sent by regular mail—see below). At least two of the submitted publications are to be in English; the other can be published in Japanese.
  
  (2) Provide the name of 1 reference, including affiliation/title, and contact information
  (phone number and e-mail address).
  
  (3) Provide a syllabus for the course "Introduction to International Cooperation" along with a one-page (maximum length, double-spaced) explanation of the student outcomes of your course. Submit this in English.
  
  (4) Provide a one-page statement (700 words) on how to teach students the importance of field research in international cooperation. Submit this in English.

• 選考内容

  The application process is based upon documentation review and interview.
  (1) Interviews, which will include a class demonstration, will be conducted in English and Japanese. Interviews can be arranged to take place online via Zoom.
  (2) Applicants who are currently overseas are welcome to apply. However, the selected candidate will be expected to have relocated to Japan no later than April 1, 2024.

• 結果通知方法

  Applicants who pass the document screening process will be contacted by e-mail by October 13. Interviews of these candidates will take place on October 22.
