The successful applicant will work in collaboration with Associate Professor Shinichiro Maruyama and connection with the JSPS project 23H04962 "Environmental Adaptation Principles of Primordial Photosynthetic Supramolecules to be Unraveled from the Evolution of Control Systems"

仕事内容・職務内容
The successful applicant will conduct research and support graduate students’ research on 1) the evolution of photosynthesis using algal genetic modification technology, 2) basic research on the adaptive evolution mechanism of photosynthetic organisms by endosymbiosis, which will contribute to the development of new research areas of plant physiology and structural biology.
