Chemical biology based on chemistry
Research topics:
Interactions between membrane proteins and lipids. Molecular basis of lipid raft formation. Mechanism of action of membrane-associated bioactive compounds such as anesthetics. The successful candidate is supposed to join the “Bioanalytical Chemistry Laboratory” supervised by Professor Nobuaki Matsumori.

Educational and Other Duties:
The new assistant professor hired with this position is requested to give lectures on some of the following courses: Introduction to Chemistry, Laboratory Chemistry Experiments for undergraduate students, etc. It must also be noted that all professors including those in assistant professor positions are in charge of a part of the administrative tasks to manage and operate the department.

Annual Salary : 5 million yen ~ 7 million yen
Salary shall be paid in accordance with the Annual Salary System (issued April 1, 2020). The annual salary is determined by relevant rules of the university and composed from base salary depending on age and experience, performance bonus, and various allowance.

Holidays : Holidays : Every Saturday and Sunday, national holidays, and other days as specified (e.g. New Year's holiday).
