We have been developing federated learning AI models for medical image diagnosis. We are seeking a research staff (Post Doc.) to lead the above research.

A research position at a postdoctoral researcher level is available for a highly motivated individual who wants to develop and/or advance his/her academic career in the field of deep learning in biomedical imaging. We are seeking a researcher who can use his/her knowledge on artificial intelligence, machine learning (including deep learning) and image processing for the following areas:
・Development of an AI-assisted image diagnosis system for detection, segmentation, and classification of lesions in medical images by improving and applying deep learning models.
・Development of a federated learning methodology to build a AI-assisted image diagnosis system by training local AI models within hospitals without transferring patient data offsite and aggregating the AI models at a central server.

Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering or a similar discipline.
Work experience
The successful candidate should be able to perform the research described in the Job Description.
