Nuclear technology, particularly fields related to reactor engineering, reactor design, nuclear safety, nuclear reactions, nuclear data, thermal hydraulics, nuclear materials, irradiation effects, maintenology, nuclear fuel, and nuclear security.

・Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to nuclear technology, including lectures, experiments, and exercises, along with related duties; advancing scholarship in the above specialized field; and providing educational and research guidance to undergraduate and graduate students
・Duties related to radiation facility management
