    1. Research Reasons: To advance the operations of the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (CRICED) and to further enhance research related to International Cooperation in Education and International Education Development.

  • Work content and job description

    1. Duties of the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (this is the main responsibility of this position)
    2. Research in specialized fields at the Institute of Human Sciences
    3. Teaching and academic supervision in the following educational organizations (only the names of courses primarily taught by the successful candidate are listed)
    a) Master's Program of Education at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences: Research on Education I and Research on Education II
    b) College of Education at the School of Human Sciences: International Collaboration in Education
    c) Pre-service Teacher Training Program: Teaching Profession I and Teaching Profession II

    Break time :12:15-13:15

    Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the year-end & new-year period (December 29 through January 3)

    Overtime and other explanations : The discretionary working-hour system for professional work applies.
    Deemed working hours: 7 hours and 45 minutes/day, 38 hours and 45 minutes/week, working five days a week.
    The flexible adjustment of starting and finishing work times and break periods is left to the discretion of the employees concerned.

  • Work experience

    Have a demonstrated history of exceptional practical experience in international cooperation and international educational development.
    Hold a record of research accomplishments in the field of international cooperation in education or international educational development.

  • Official qualification in specific field, etc.

    Possess the ability to deliver lectures and seminars, supervise student theses, and manage tasks within the assigned organization, all in Japanese.

    The tenure is set for five years; however, an interim evaluation will be conducted two years before the end of the tenure-track period. Additionally, a tenure acquisition evaluation will take place six months before the expiration of the tenure-track period. If the tenure acquisition evaluation is successful, the appointment will be extended to an indefinite period.
