Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Discovery Program for Global Learners(GDP) is an international bachelor’s degree program at Okayama University that offers a liberal arts education in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Work content and job description
(1) Teaching:
- Teach the following courses in English in the Discovery Program for Global Learners: Data science or information science courses, as well as relevant mathematics and statistics courses. (Additional teaching opportunities may be available in general education courses or courses offered by other undergraduate or graduate schools.)
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students, and supervise and evaluate their Senior Projects
(2) Service
- Serve on university and departmental committees
- Perform other service assignments, including admissions, student recruitment, and public relations
(3) Research
- Conduct scholarly research -

Annual Salary : 7 million yen ~ 9 million yen
Successful candidates will be compensated under an annual salary system. The annual salary will be determined in accordance with the Okayama University Salary Regulations for Staff Under the Annual Salary System, taking into account the candidate’s educational background, work experience, and other relevant factors.

Selection
