[Content of Work]
J.F.Oberlin University School of Business Management is searching for an Adjunct instructor for English language course Eigo IIA
仕事内容・職務内容

The course is a required course for first year students on Tuesday morning from 8:50-12.20.
The applicant is expected to prepare, teach, and manage two 100-minute sessions per week over the course of a 14-week semester. Classes are taught primarily in English.

The courses are offered on JFOU's Shinjuku Campus (3-23-1 Hyakunin-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).
1 part-time lecturer
The term is for 6 months only from September 16th 2026 to March 31st 2027.

Wage per class Amount : 29400 yen ~ 32800 yen

The above amount is the monthly unit amount per class, and is paid equally over 6 months if one person teaches 14 classes per semester.

Overtime and other explanations : Class Schedule: TUESDAY - 1st Period 8.50-10.30, 2nd Period-10.40-12.20.

応募に必要な学歴・学位

Master
説明

1) Master's degree in TESOL/TEFL/applied linguistics (Please provide a copy of the certificate).
2) EFL Teaching experience in Japanese colleges/universities (preferably three years or more).
3) The ability to work using standardized materials in a coordinated program and a willingness to attend staff orientation and faculty development meetings when necessary.
4) Comfortable with online learning platforms such as Moodle, Google Drive, as well as other web-based technologies.
5) Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
6) For non-native English speakers, ability to deliver classes in English is required.
7) Publications and/or presentations are preferable.
8) Understanding of J. F. Oberlin University's mission, based on Christianity, and educational philosophy and its Christian foundation.
