Administrative Duties
(1)To teach the courses listed below in English.
(2)To contribute to the administration and implementation of the Dual Language Pathway (DLP) program and the Intercultural Communication for Global Leadership (ICGL) course within the PEACE program.
(3)To perform duties related to the university’s entrance examinations.
(4)To perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Dean of the College and/or the Department Chair.
Academic Duties
Academic Skills, College Life Planning, Cultural Exchange, Introduction to Intercultural Communication, Seminar in English, Communication Seminar 3A-R, Advanced Seminar, Senior Thesis, and other courses based on departmental needs and the successful candidate’s expertise. The working hours include the class periods during which the employee may be assigned teaching duties:
●Period 1: 8:50 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
●Period 2: 10:45 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
●Period 3: 1:25 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.
●Period 4: 3:20 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
●Period 5: 5:10 p.m. – 6:50 p.m.
The actual working hours will depend on the employee's teaching schedule, meetings, and other duties and responsibilities required as a faculty member.

Education and Degree Requirements
Master
Description
(1)Master's degree or PhD in Intercultural Communication or a related field;
(2)Sufficient English language proficiency to teach the courses listed above;
(3)Sufficient proficiency in Japanese to perform administrative duties;
(4)Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level in Japan; and
(5)Demonstrated potential for scholarly research.

Research funding, leave, and employee benefits are provided in accordance with university regulations. The mandatory retirement age is 65.

Selection / Notification of result
Selection
The selection process consists of a document review and an interview. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, October 3rd in English and Japanese. If necessary, interviews may be conducted online via Zoom.
Notes:
Transportation expenses for in-person interviews will not be paid.
Notification of result
Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by September 25, 2026.
