Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Division of Advanced Materials and Process Engineering has established cross-laboratory research units focused on all-solid-state devices—exemplified by next-generation all-solid-state secondary batteries—and has put in place a system to provide continuous support for their realization. To further advance research in this field, it is essential to build a research framework that integrates the entire process—from material synthesis to advanced measurement and computational science—centered on the development of new material groups that directly contribute to enhanced device performance and practical application, as well as the evaluation of structures and properties at solid surfaces and interfaces. Accordingly, we are seeking a candidate with an outstanding track record in inorganic solid-state chemistry research and development who possesses the strong leadership capabilities needed to further drive and advance research in this field.
Furthermore, from the perspective of regional revitalization, we expect the appointee to actively contribute to the revitalization of local industries by fostering the development of academic and research areas related to inorganic materials science and inorganic physical chemistry—disciplines that serve as the foundational technologies for inorganic solid materials.
