Department of Intelligent Mechanical Systems, Faculty of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University is seeking to appoint a suitable candidate for the position of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track). Detailed possible candidate is shown below.
･A person who has experience and achievements in advanced mechatronic systems, such as small sensors and actuators for minimally invasive medicine, system integration, and sensor-based control. -
仕事内容・職務内容
The position involves teaching advanced mechanics experiments and other lectures at the School of Engineering. The incumbent will also assist with graduate research and lead research methods to master's and doctoral students. Depending on their expertise, they may also be required to teach liberal arts education courses and specialized education courses for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Annual Salary : 3 million yen ~ 7 million yen
Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary : 3,938,000-6,390,000yen
An annual salary system is applied.
The amount of salary is determined in consideration of the person’s educational background, licenses and qualifications, work experience, etc. according to the National University Corporation Okayama University annual salary application staff salary rules.

勤務時間

Working hours :08:30-17:30
Holidays : Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 to January 3 (Article 42, paragraph 2 of the Personnel Work Rules)
Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system for professional work is applied. (Deemed working hours:7 hours and 45 minutes/day) Overtime work is not required in principle. Day-off work may be required. (Articles 41 and 42 of the Personnel Work Rules)
