Fujita Research Group at Department of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, is seeking a researcher to engage in research and development of spectroscopic and microscopic measurement techniques for innovative medical diagnosis and treatment support. We are looking for researchers who can design and build measurement optics, measure and analyze spectroscopic image data of cells and animals, prepare biological samples (cell culture, reagent preparation, fluorescent staining, animal tissue collection, etc.), and conduct research on practical application of developed technologies to the medical and healthcare fields.

Annual Salary : 5 million yen ~
Salary Regulations for Faculty Members with Fixed-Term, Annual Salary (Specially Appointed Faculty Members) (National University Corporation Osaka University 46) is applied.

Working hours :08:30-17:15
Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system for specialized work is applied (deemed working hours: 8 hours per day), in accordance with "Regulations Concerning Working Hours, Holidays, and Vacations of Faculty and Staff of National University Corporation Osaka University".

Doctoral degree or plans to obtain a doctoral degree by the time of the Imperial appointment.

Experience in research and development of optical measurement (imaging or spectroscopy preferred) techniques.

Candidates who can actively engage in practical application research with a medical field as an outlet are preferred.
Those who have a Ph.D. degree and skills in optical engineering, measurement, and control are appreciated.
