We are seeking an assistant professor to conduct cutting-edge research into device physics, device development, and applications of these devices in the terahertz region, which is the boundary between light and radio waves, and to advance research in the field of electronic devices at the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology.

仕事内容・職務内容

_The successful candidate will be required to carry out research on semiconductor device physics and device development in the frequency range between light and radio waves, as well as applications using developed devices.
_The successful candidate will contribute to the management of Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology.
_Education in department of electrical and electronic engineering, in school of Engineering, including undergraduate training programs provided.

Ph.D. / Doctor

Applicants must hold a PhD, be near to completion of a PhD.
業務における経験

_The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record in either of semiconductor engineering / electronic device engineering / electromagnetic wave engineering / high-frequency communication and measurement technology.
_The successful candidate must explore new research themes continuously and engage in research enthusiastically.
_The successful candidate will be required to engage in research, teach, and supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
