Graduate School of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology is seeking to appoint a suitable candidate for the position of Assistant Professor. Detailed possible research fields are shown below.

仕事内容・職務内容
You will be responsible for giving lectures on subjects such as physical chemistry, chemical engineering, and applied chemistry experiments in the Faculty of Engineering, as well as supervising graduation research. In addition, you will provide research guidance to master’s students, assist in supervising doctoral students, and manage some course operations. You will also be in charge of some specialized education courses in the graduate school.
We seek someone who is enthusiastic about research on the development of functional materials based on chemical engineering, with a focus on material transfer and microfluidics. The ideal candidate will work on developing manufacturing processes that control material properties and functions and design new materials through research on polymers, fluids, interfaces, and reaction processes.
This position involves collaborating with Professor Tsutomu Ono in research and educational activities. -

給与

Annual Salary : 4 million yen ~
Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary : Assistant Professor 3,938,000-6,390,000yen
An annual salary system is applied.
The amount of annual salary is determined in consideration of the person’s educational background, work experience, etc. according to the Okayama University annual salary Regulations.
The percentage of annual performance pay depends on the length of service within six months prior to the base date (June 1 and December 1) , and the performance rate varies depending on the results of the evaluation.
As allowances, commuting allowance, support allowance, housing allowance, adjustment allowance, etc. will be paid separately to the applicable employees.

Working hours :08:30-17:30
Holidays : Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 to January 3 (Article 42, paragraph 2 of the Personnel Work Rules)
Overtime and other explanations : If the employee agrees to the application of the discretionary work system for specialized work, working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day. Overtime work is not required in principle. Day-off work may be required. (Articles 41 and 42 of the Personnel Work Rules)
