募集の背景、プロジェクトの説明
The Radiation Effects Research Foundation (RERF), a binational foundation supported by the governments of Japan and the United States, is a global leader in the study of long-term effects of radiation exposure on human health and their molecular mechanisms. RERF is currently recruiting a Chief of its Department of Molecular Biosciences (MBS). For this position we are seeking a senior researcher with significant experience in research, management, and strategic planning appropriate for the position. The Department includes active research programs in molecular biomedical sciences with an emphasis on radiation mutagenesis, heritable effects, oncogenesis, cytogenetics, cell biology, and immunology. In addition to MBS, the institute has internationally recognized departments of Clinical Studies, Epidemiology, and Statistics, and the Biosample Research Center that work collaboratively with the MBS. RERF studies have provided the primary basis for understanding radiation health effects in humans and developing radiation protection standards worldwide. For more details, please visit our webpage at Radiation Effects Research Foundation (RERF).
