• Annual Salary : 4 million yen ~ 7 million yen

  Ph.D. / Doctor

  (1) Holding a doctorate degree (or expected to obtain one by the time of employment).
  (2) Having the ability to conduct research in English in the field of study.
  (3) Being capable of teaching, conducting seminars, and performing organizational tasks in English at the graduate school level.
  (4) Being capable of teaching, conducting seminars, and performing organizational tasks in Japanese and/or English at the undergraduate level.
  (5) Have published at least 3 papers. (Dissertation can be counted as one publication.)

• Nontenured - Non-tenure track

  Non-tenure track.
  Three-year term, One extension possible (2 years) upon assessment, up to a maximum of 5 years in total.
  This position is based on the system of ITF Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba （Please refer to the comments below). Depending on your performance, you may become a tenure-track assistant professor. You will be evaluated for your performance in the fifth year of your appointment based on the University of Tsukuba regulations. If your achievement is satisfactory, your position will convert from fixed-term to permanent.
