Based on the concept of system safety that integrates and applies safety technology and management skills, the Department of System Safety Engineering in the Division of Engineering has been established to develop human resources with research and practical skills to deal with various safety issues and new technologies.

仕事内容・職務内容
In the department, focusing on combustion, fire, explosion and thermal energy engineering fields, mainly for working people as well as general students, tha candidate will play the core role for education related to system safety and related research activities while promoting social cooperation between industry, government and academia, and international cooperation with overseas universities and other organizations.

Annual Salary : 7 million yen ~
*Wages will be determined based on education and work history.
*Based on our University's salary regulations（New annual salary system applied）, including bonuses

Working hours :08:30-17:15
Break time :12:00-13:00
Holidays : Weekends, National holidays, October 1st (anniversary of the opening of the university)
Overtime and other explanations : By agreeing to apply the discretionary work system for specialized work, the employee is considered to have worked 7 hours and 45 minutes per day on a given workday. If the discretionary work system for specialized work is not applied, the employee will work from 8:30 to 17:15 five days a week (break 12:00 to 13:00), and may be ordered to work overtime.

(1) Degree: Applicants must hold a doctoral degree.
(2) Area of expertise: Have academic and professional knowledge and practical skills appropriate for a graduate faculty member in combustion, fire, explosion, and thermal energy engineering, etc., which are important foundations in the development of safety standards and safety design based on the basic concept of system safety.
(3) The candidate should be willing to take on the challenge of interdisciplinary research that will have a social impact.
