Kansai University has been selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for the"Support Project for Creating Social Impact through University Internationalization: Regional collaboration type".
The Faculty of Societal Safety Sciences is looking for a special faculty member to be in charge of multicultural co-curricular subjects associated with this support project. -
仕事内容・職務内容
・Teaching introductory courses on Societal Safety Sciences (including “Introduction to Safety Science II”); therefore, knowledge in the field of societal safety sciences is required.
・Planning, development, and leading of short-term study abroad programs.
・Curriculum design and support for multicultural co-curricular subjects.
・Courses in charge will be conducted in English. Expected to teach approximately four classes (90 minutes each) per semester. -

The stated salary is a model figure and is not guaranteed.

Overtime and other explanations : ・Each class period is 90 minutes. The standard teaching load for specially appointed faculty (undergraduate level) is approximately 6 hours per week.
・Other duties such as faculty meetings, admissions duties, and events may occur outside the above working hours.

○ Selection Method
The selection will be conducted in two stages:
The first stage will be a screening of documents, followed by a second stage consisting of interviews.
Final hiring decisions will be made based on the results of these stages. -
