業務内容

  • 募集の背景、プロジェクトの説明

    The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks a candidate with a Ph.D. for a position of Professor or Associate Professor in the field of Religious Studies with a focus on Religion and Society.

  • 仕事内容・職務内容

    Teaching classes for Comparative Religion and other classes at the College of Comparative Culture, supervising senior thesis.
    Teaching classes for Religious Studies and other classes at the Doctoral and Master's Program of Humanities and other courses at the Graduate School, supervising Master's Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation.
    Administrative tasks, including entrance examinations, related to the above two educational institutions. 　
    Contribution to collaborative research among the Humanities program and interdisciplinary research on the campus.

  • 選考内容

    Only shortlisted candidates are informed of the interview (30 minutes) and the research presentation in English (20 minutes followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer session) via email. A candidate whose native language is not Japanese is asked to demonstrate teaching a class in Japanese (20 minutes followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer session).
