A NIH-funded postdoctoral position in Translational Cancer Biology is immediately available in Dr. Loning Fu’s laboratory in the Department of Medicine of Baylor College of Medicine located in the heart of Texas Medical Center (TMC) — the largest medical center in the world. The successful candidate will join our exciting research programs to study the role of circadian dysfunction in obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases (NAFLD) and NAFLD-induced carcinogenesis. The study will use state-of-the-art technologies, including RNA/ChIP-seq, whole genome sequencing, proteomics, metabolomics, and humanized mouse models, to define the mechanism and therapeutic targets of obesity-related liver cancer and define the role of mammalian circadian clock in anti-HCC chronotherapy (PMID: 12724733, PMCID: PMC2881876, PMCID: PMC4558341, PMCID: PMC5695235, PMID: 37890720)
