Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Hanazono University is planning to establish a Department of Primary Education, in the Faculty of Education (tentative name) in April 2025. In line with this plan, Hanazono University is seeking a full-time faculty member who specializes in Japanese Language Education at Primary or Kindergarten level, has the ability to apply the results of his/her research in education, and can provide appropriate guidance to students.
Work content and job description
(1)Curriculum research on elementary education and kindergarten education, and educational guidance on educational methodology, with a particular focus on subjects related to Japanese language education.
(2)Responsible for tasks related to the administration of the department and other internal operations of the university.

Ph.D. / Doctor
Applicants must satisfy all of the following requirements
(1)Have a doctorate in the above field (including doctoral students expecting to obtain a doctoral degree by the end of March 2025) or have equivalent professional expertise and/or achievements in the above field.
(2)Appreciate the Founding Spirit of Hanazono University and be willing to be actively involved i n the execution of various university duties
(3)Have sufficient Japanese proficiency to carry out educational and administrative duties
(4)Can live in Kyoto City or its suburbs after employment
