募集の背景、プロジェクトの説明
The Bridge Program is a 3-tiered entry-level university program for conditionally accepted undergraduate students who need additional English language support and skill-building before matriculation.
We have a need for instructors for English language learning courses (Academic Writing) for 2024 Fall. These courses run from September 2 through December 2. Writing courses (capped at 12 students) meet every Tuesday AND Thursday for a total of 24 120-minute sessions. There are 2 of these courses available; it is possible for 1 successful candidate to take both if mutually desired. These courses meet from 11:40-13:40 and from 17:30-19:30 on campus (Sangenjaya). There are no Zoom or hybrid options for these courses.
The syllabi for these courses will be set in terms of format, learning outcomes, course objectives, and types of assignments. However, course calendars and specific assignments or lesson plans will not be provided in full; instructors are responsible for the majority of their own course preparation in conversation with the program’s Director.
