  (2) Teaching experience at a university-level institution preferred regarding the related subjects to be taught
  (3) Ability to conduct classes and administrative jobs in English and Japanese
  (4) Experience of living or studying in English-speaking countries
  (5) An understanding of Christian values
  (6) Will reside in Ibaraki Prefecture

  Contract-based. 1-year contract renewable up to 4 times. No trial period.
  This is a one-year contract renewable up to four times for a total of five years. According to the criteria which will be shown at the point of signing the contract, the applicant can apply for a tenured position. The successful applicant may apply for tenure after two years if employed as a contract lecturer or after three years if employed as an assistant professor.
