What you bring to CIEE:
• Passion for education and an appreciation of education as an instrument to connect cultures.
• Significant teaching experience in the relevant area with proven positive student outcomes and experience.
• Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant area.
• Industry experience in the relevant area where applicable.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or professional publications in the relevant area (desirable but not essential).
• Experience using a learning management system (LMS). (desirable)

Adjunct lecturer position, part-time.
Expected Dates: Range of Dates of instruction between Jan 2-24, 2024. Course is on an intensive schedule with classes scheduled most weekdays during that period, with the exception of Japanese national holidays.
Contract for 45 contact hours plus marking and course prep, 400,000 JPY total

Position: Adjunct Lecturer – Photo Journalism
Location: Tokyo
Expected Dates: Dec 29 to Jan 13
The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), a US-based non-profit organization, is seeking adjunct lecturing staff to deliver an academic course, Photo Journalism, for its center in Tokyo.
The short-term, intensive course includes 45 contact hours during the period listed above. Two offsite, instructor-led co-curricular activities will be scheduled during class time.
Students will be undergraduates from universities in the United States. Courses will be taught in-a rented classroom space in central Tokyo.
