  Qualified candidates must hold a graduate degree in an appropriate field (PhD or ABD preferred) from a recognized tertiary institution. Experience teaching American students and familiarity with American higher education system is a plus. Candidates with experience using the Moodle learning platform are preferred.   Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes reimbursement for transportation expenses. Continuing faculty are also eligible to apply for small grants offered from time to time to assist with travel to professional conferences or other research-related expenses. Faculty expenses and Faculty's commuting expenses will be fully covered.

  IES Abroad is a U.S.-based educational organization overseen by a consortium of universities and colleges, and instructs over 4,500 undergraduate students abroad each year in programs located throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. Located in Kaihin Makuhari, the IES Abroad Tokyo Center offers a rigorous academic program to students from institutions all over the U.S., directly through its own faculty members and in partnership with Kanda University of International Studies.
  
  The IES Abroad Tokyo Center seeks qualified instructors for TWO of the following courses:
  
  MK 325 - Key Features of Japanese Marketing Strategy
  EC 320 - The Contemporary Economy of Japan
  
  The courses will meet on Weekday afternoons (or morning on Wednesday) for three hours each week during the semester, from the beginning of September through to December). Instruction is to be conducted in English in accordance with US academic standards. Course syllabi approved by the IES Academic Consortium will provide the basic framework and themes for course content. IES Tokyo programs are established on the educational belief that students learn effectively through participation in and interaction with the local culture within which they are living and studying and study excursions make up a part of the educational program.　The principal teaching location is a short walk from Kaihin Makuhari Station on the Keiyo Line.
