In our Faculty, the purpose of English education is to have students attain a high level of language competency so that they can prosper in the global English-speaking environment. At the same time, we teach them to understand different cultures and to analyze various issues in contemporary society from a multiplicity of perspectives. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about engaging in English education in accordance with our vision.
仕事内容・職務内容
Classes are conducted, students' Learning outcomes are evaluated, and educational guidance for students is provided. This also includes duties such as preparing English entrance examinations.
Teaching responsibilities: English classes, short-term study abroad programs, and other duties ( Responsible for approximately seven 100-minute classes per week)

Annual Salary : 5 million yen ~
Base salary and transportation/commuting allowance are provided. The base salary follows an annual salary system, with one-twelfth of the annual amount paid monthly.
勤務時間

Working hours :09:00-20:30
Holidays : Sundays, national holidays, and the university's founding anniversary (July 8). (However, this excludes days designated as teaching days in advance by the University.)
Overtime and other explanations :
The working hours are indicated by the start time of the first period and the end time of the sixth period (the last
period).Each class period is 100 minutes, and the schedule is as follows:
1st period: 9:00-10:40
2nd period: 10:50-12:30
Lunch break: 12:30-13:20
3rd period: 13:20-15:00
4th period: 15:10-16:50
5th period: 17:00-18:40
6th period: 18:50-20:30
(responsible for approximately seven 100-minute classes per week).

応募に必要な学歴・学位
Master
1) Native English language ability
2) Proficiency in Japanese (basic or intermediate reading and conversation skill required)
3) Master’s degree or above
4) At least two years experience teaching in English (including part-time) at universities in Japan
5) Ability to perform duties connected with English entrance examinations
6) Ability to develop, teach, and lead short-term study-abroad programs sponsored by the Faculty and the International Centre
7) Ability to carry out various other educational and administrative duties

Three-year contract, renewable up to a total term of five years providing the instructor fulfills his or her duties satisfactorily. It is not possible to renew the contract beyond five years.

Smoking is allowed in two designated areas (outdoors) on the campus where there are few pedestrians. Generally, there is no risk of passive smoking.
