  Master

• 説明

  The applicant should:
  1. Hold a master's degree.
  2. Have majored in English language education or a related field.
  3. Have at least two years of experience teaching English to non-native English speakers at the university level.
  4. Have the ability to write questions for university entrance examinations.
  5. Have the ability to teach English (equivalent to a native or near-native English speaker).
  6. Be able to reside in Osaka or within close commuting distance after employment.

契約期間

• Nontenured - Non-tenure track

  The employment contract is for one year, with a possibility of renewal up to four times upon consultation and mutual agreement. However, the number of renewals may be restricted if the individual has previously held an employment contract with Kansai University before the start of a new contract.

  4. Teaching philosophy
  ・Please include a 300-word statement in English detailing the applicant’s perspective on teaching and how they apply that perspective to their teaching in practice.

  ・Please provide two reference letters – at least one letter must be external to Kansai University.

選考・結果通知

• 選考内容

  Short-listed candidates will be interviewed in person on Friday, September 12 or Saturday, September 13. As part of the interview process, candidates will teach a mock lesson in English.

  Candidates will be notified of the results of the initial selection process on Tuesday, September 3 (tentative) via e-mail.
