    A person who can contribute to the management and education in the International Course Program of Civil Engineering at the Undergraduate School of Civil, Environmental and Resources Engineering, Kyoto University.

  • 仕事内容・職務内容

    The research mission of Structures Management Engineering laboratory encompasses the study of (1) structural engineering for structures made of various materials including concrete, steel, and other advanced materials, (2) structural maintenance engineering to prolong service lives of structures, (3) structural health monitoring for anomaly detection, and related fields.
    The major mission of this position is to contribute to the management and education in the International Course Program of Civil Engineering at the Undergraduate School of Civil, Environmental and Resources Engineering, Kyoto University. Additionally, the successful candidate will have to contribute to the management of school-related duties in the Department of Urban Management of the Graduate School of Engineering.
    The successful candidate will be responsible with other faculty members for teaching “Fundamental Mechanics,” “Structural Mechanics I and Exercises,” and “Computer Programming and Experiment on Structural Mechanics,” which are offered by the Faculty of Engineering, and “Structural Engineering for Civil Infrastructure” which is offered by the Graduate School of Engineering.

勤務時間

  • Working hours :08:30-17:15

    Break time :12:00-13:00

    Holidays : Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays, and Foundation Day

    Overtime and other explanations : Full-time employment in a discretionary work system is based on 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 38 hours 45 minutes per week.

    Must be female.
    The successful candidate will possess: (i) a doctoral degree or its equivalent, (ii) the ability and enthusiasm to manage the International Course Program and the department, (iii) a distinguished research record aligned with the division’s mission, (iv) academic and/or practical experience in universities or research institutions, (v) strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and (vi) the capability to deliver lectures in English.
