This job will involve the supervision of both Japanese and international PhD and Masters students. We will primarily be conducting our research in English, so good command of the English language is essential. The postdoctoral position will be in the recently established Laboratory of Oncoprotein Kinetics, headed by Donald Cameron, at the Institute for Quantitative Biosciences, University of Tokyo (iqb.u-tokyo.ac.jp/en/lab/cameron/).

The candidate will investigate how cancer proteins affect the diffusivity of their targets in the cell to control enzymatic activity, using a range of biochemical, cell-based and single molecule assays. The project will employ advanced techniques such as single molecule imaging, next-generation sequencing, and drug screening, using state-of-the-art facilities available at the University of Tokyo and through our collaborators.
Scope of change: The University may order employees to be reassigned to different positions, or order them to take up additional positions or to work on an external assignment.
Wages
Annual Salary : 3 million yen ~ 5 million yen

The MiM Program Director will play a pivotal role in leading the Master in Management (MiM). This one-year masters program at TUJ offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of business. The role of MiM Program Director will evolve as the program grows. Initially, it will include:
1) Academic Program Management
-Oversee the MiM Program in accordance with the academic plan approved by the University.

2) Teaching and Instruction
-Teach the Capstone course in the MiM.
