Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Through interdisciplinary education and research, the Graduate School aims to train the next generation of pioneering drug discovery researchers. This recruitment is seeking individuals who can contribute to the following goals: "to develop new research frontiers in pharmaceutical sciences through interdisciplinary research and apply the results to industry-academia collaboration, to produce world-class research results in the basic fields of biological science, to develop medicinal chemistry and chemical biology based on the fusion of chemistry and biology, and to contribute to the promotion of research and education across organizations." To this end, we will employ professors in the Department of Drug Discovery Biological Sciences and the Field of Pharmacology and Drug Efficacy Analysis who can promote education and research while collaborating with existing research fields and departments.

  • Work content and job description

    Job Description:
    1. Conduct education and research in biological sciences aiming for drug discovery and related fields
    2. Participate in management and inter-departmental collaboration within the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and university-wide administration
    3. Perform research on biological sciences of higher life activities in animals with a focus on drug discovery
    Teaching Responsibilities:
    - Master's program: Introduction to Basic Medicinal Sciences, Advanced Biological Sciences
    - Doctoral program: Seminar on Biological Sciences for Drug Discovery
    - Preferably able to teach some or all of Basic Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics in the Master's program

    - Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
