    Specialization in Physics at the Graduate School of Engineering Science, Yokohama National University (YNU) is now inviting applications for an assistant professor as a tenure-track faculty position in the field of advanced laser spectroscopy.

  • Work content and job description

    Job description: Research area of candidates must be in the field of quantum physics and quantum measurement, especially, optical trap and control, cold atoms, optomechanics and optical frequency comb.
    We are seeking an active person, who can cooperate with faculty members working on quantum physics and precision measurement (especially Prof. Hong and Associate Prof. Akamatsu) in our university. The post-holder will have responsibility for teaching in Department of Physics in both graduate and undergraduate courses.
