Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Tokyo Tech will create a new professor or associate professor position exclusively for female candidates at each of its eight Schools and Institutes. Work content and job description
The successful candidate will be member of the School of Materials and Chemical Technology．You will be engaged original research work, lecture and management activities in the School and the Institute.
Research: You will establish and manage the independent laboratory to perform your original research.
Education: You will teach lectures, practices and experiments in the faculty.
You will lecture and supervise graduate students both in Japanese and English.
Manage: You will participate various managements of the School and the Institute. -

Pay increase system : The successful candidate will be paid under the “Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance” pursuant to the Institute’s Regulations on Wage and Salary for Staff under Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance. In accordance with the regulations, the amount of annual salary will be determined based on the standard level for the first fiscal year of employment, and will be based on performance evaluations in subsequent years. A retirement allowance will be paid separately at the time of retirement.

Professor with 15 years of work experience after completing a doctoral degree
Standard: JPY 9,400,000, Minimum*: JPY 8,600,000 , Maximum*: JPY 10,700,000

Associate Professor with 5 years of work experience after completing a doctoral degree
Standard: JPY 7,500,000, Minimum*: JPY 7,000,000 , Maximum*: JPY 8,600,000
