Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Medical Devices and Materials Engineering Section, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to the position of an assistant professor. Detailed possible candidate is shown below.
*A person who have knowledge and achievements relating to measurement systems, bio/medical measurement technologies, sensor technologies, especially including terahertz measurement systems, superconductor devices and systems, and femtosecond lasers.
*A person who is with excellent ability and enthusiasm for education and research in the fields above, including the basic field of electric and electrical engineering.
*A person who can educate and supervise students in both of Japanese and English. -

Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary : Assistant Professor 3,938,000-6.390,000yen

Working hours :08:30-17:30
Holidays : Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 to January 3 (Article 42, paragraph 2 of the Personnel Work Rules)
Overtime and other explanations : If the employee agrees to the application of the discretionary work system for specialized work, working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day. Overtime work is not required in principle. Day-off work may be required. (Articles 41 and 42 of the Personnel Work Rules)
