Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Full-time Faculty (Educational Organization: MBA Program in International Business, Graduate School of Business Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences)

  • Work content and job description

    1. Conduct research in the fields of Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resource Management.
    2. Teach three or more courses related to Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and related fields (each course consisting of five 2.5-hour sessions).
    3. Supervise and mentor students, including advising on their Business Project (equivalent to a master's thesis).
    4. Participate in administrative duties such as committee work within the program and the university.

    Basic annual salary system, Grade 20 (Basic annual salary: ¥6,480,000)

Working hours

  • Working hours :12:45-21:15

    Holidays : Sundays, Mondays, National Holidays, and university-designated holidays.

    Overtime and other explanations : Working days: Tuesday to Saturday (Saturdays from 11:00 to 19:45)
    Work under the discretionary labor system, with standard working hours being 7 hours and 45 minutes per day, 5 days a week, totaling 38 hours and 45 minutes per week.
    However, attendance is required for evening classes on weekdays, classes on Saturdays, and daytime meetings on weekdays.

  • Description

    1. Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree (or expect to obtain it by the time of appointment).
    2. Have research achievements of two or more peer-reviewed papers within the last 5 years (starting from January 1, five years before the date of the CV), with at least one paper possibly from earlier than the last 5 years. The research achievements to be evaluated must be listed in the List of Research Achievements.
    3. Have sufficient English proficiency to teach and supervise research in English, and sufficient Japanese proficiency to participate in university administrative duties.
    4. Experience studying abroad or experience teaching graduate-level courses in Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resource Management in English is desirable.

    *However, the following individuals are not eligible to apply:
    ① Those who have been sentenced to imprisonment or more severe punishment and are still serving their sentence, or those who are on suspended sentence or who are not yet subject to the execution of their sentence.
    ② Those who have received disciplinary dismissal or an equivalent punishment and two years have not yet passed since the date of that punishment.
    ③ Those who do not have a residence status that does not restrict activities in Japan.
