Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    We are hiring part-time lecturers in FY 2025 (School of Foreign Studies and Graduate School of Humanities(Division of Foreign Studies and Division of Japanese Studies, Department of Applied Japanese Studies)).

  • Work content and job description

    Teaching a course on Dutch grammar (One class lasts 90 minutes. One course has 15 classes in a semester (30 classes in a year.))

    Overtime and other explanations : Each course will be conducted in either of the following periods. The actual working hours for each course are decided after consultation.
    1st Period: 8:50 a.m.-10:20 a.m.
    2nd Period: 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    3rd Period: 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
    4th Period: 3:10 p.m.-4:40 p.m.
    5th Period: 4:50 p.m.-6:20 p.m.
    6th Period: 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Education and Degree Requirements

    Ph.D. / Doctor / Master

    Ph.D., M.A. or equivalent certification in Dutch linguistics, Dutch literature and culture or Dutch language education, or equivalent research/educational achievements in the above-mentioned fields.

  • Description

    【Essential】
    Applicants must have:
    (1) language proficiency in Dutch language
    (2) general knowledge of the cultures and societies where Dutch language is spoken
    (3) Ph.D., M.A. or equivalent certification in Dutch linguistics, Dutch literature and culture or Dutch language education, or equivalent research/educational achievements in the above-mentioned fields.
    *Candidates may also be required to submit a copy of a certificate of their degree when they are offered the position.


    【Preferred】
    Applicants preferably have experience of teaching Dutch at universities or other institutions for higher education.
