Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    The Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR), The University of Tokyo, Japan, is a research center in the field of astroparticle physics with a long-standing history in cosmic ray, astroparticle physics and observational cosmology. We are seeking several postdoctoral researchers, who can work on observational and theoretical studies conducted by our institute.

Wages

  • Annual Salary : 3 million yen ~

    Salary and benefits are defined in the articles of employment of the University of Tokyo, which specify a step-2 level for project researchers: 300,000 JPY with an additional allowance of 30,000 JPY (60,000 JPY for ICRR fellows) per month. The ICRR fellow(s) will receive a research fund of 400,000 JPY for the first year and 300,000 JPY for each subsequent year of employment.

    Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays Holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3 )

    Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system, based on 7 hours, 45 minutes per day, or 38 hours 45 minutes per week.
