Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Resilient Society / Designing the Voice of the Earth (research on environmental and social transition for sustainability with the focuses on policy, institutional, and/or empirical case studies, covering the areas such as multivariate analysis, data science, applied economics, behavior change, social epidemiology or international cooperation and development, etc.
Work content and job description
The responsibilities include supporting and assisting in education and research related to the aforementioned specialized fields (in either Japanese or English), as well as tasks related to the management of School of Environment and Society, Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering. Additionally, it is desirable to possess a high level of English communication skills to contribute to the management and implementation of the Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP) and to the Institute's globalization strategy. Furthermore, it is preferred that the candidate demonstrates the willingness and ability to actively collaborate with researchers from different fields to explore new areas of research. Daily communication skills in Japanese are preferable.
