    (2) Ability to conduct broad, practical research in Kyoto, a city rich in historical resources and research materials related to crafts
    (3) Possession of a PhD or equivalent qualifications
    (4) Exhibition (planning) experience at museums or similar institutions
    (5) Willingness to take on university management responsibilities in addition to research and education
    (6) Japanese language proficiency sufficient to engage in educational guidance and in university management
    (7) Willingness to promote diversity
    (8) Willingness to reside in a commuting area of the University
