The Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (CCII), Graduate School of Medicine, invites applications for the position of Program-Specific Associate Professor or Program-Specific Assistant professor. Please apply or recommend a suitable candidate.
Work content and job description
Leading an independent team and conducting research on cancer immunotherapy or immunology at the Centre for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (CCII).
*An annual research fund of up to JPY 15 million is provided to support research activities.

Annual Salary : 7 million yen ~ 11 million yen
The monthly salary will range from 600,000 yen to 850,000 yen.
No additional allowances (such as for commuting, housing, bonuses, etc.) will be provided.

Break time :12:00-13:00
Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, New Year’s holidays and the university’s founding anniversary (June 18)
Overtime and other explanations :
The Discretionary Labor System applies, with a work schedule equivalent to 38 hours and 45 minutes per week, or 7 hours and 45 minutes per day. When the Discretionary Labor System is not applied, the standard work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, with a break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, five days a week.
Overtime may be required upon necessity.

Five (5) years from the date of hire.
The contract may be renewed annually for up to a maximum of ten (10) years. The renewal of the contract will be determined based on factors such as workload at the end of the contract period, job performance, working attitudes, abilities, progress of the work being undertaken, CCII’s financial situation, and the status of external funding, among other considerations.
