Rhinoflux is an energy company started at Kyoto University with the mission of "unlocking the value of vast resources by science”. We produce carbon-negative energy to achieve a future in which the more electricity humanity generates, the more CO2 is captured from the atmosphere.
<Job Summary>
As a core member of the company's early years, you will work with our Chief Science Officer (CSO), Dr. Ryuichi Ashida who is also a faculty member at Kyoto University, and our researchers in our Science Unit to advance scientific knowledge. In this role, you will spearhead the electrochemical conversion process, which efficiently recovers electrical energy from metal ions reduced by biomass. You will also oversee the research team and lead research and development in the laboratory.

Master
Master's degree or higher from an engineering university (PhD is welcomed)
Work experience
<Qualifications>
・5+ years of experience in research and development in the field of electrochemistry in the private sector or academia
・Master's degree or higher from an engineering university (PhD is welcomed)
<Preferred Qualifications>
Any of the following:
・Experience in research and development of redox flow batteries
・Experience in research and development of fuel cells
・Knowledge and experience in chemical engineering
・English proficiency at a level that allows communication with foreign researchers
