Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Our department is a core basic medical course (Anatomy) within the Faculty of Medicine and is responsible for educating early-year medical students. Our research focuses on hormone-producing cells, utilizing model animals (mice) and organ culture systems to elucidate the mechanisms of cell differentiation and fate determination from the perspective of gene transcriptional regulation. Through this research, we aim to uncover the mechanisms of reproductive capacity acquisition, maturation, and aging in normal individuals, as well as contribute to understanding the pathophysiology of various disorders caused by abnormalities in these processes, including disorders of sex development, precocious puberty, infertility, menopause, and late-onset hypogonadism (LOH) syndrome.
