Research related to the origin of life and chemical evolution. Researchers with experience in any of the following areas are preferred: computational science, synthetic chemistry, polymer chemistry, microfluidics, spectroscopy, and electrochemistry.
[Job Description]
The laboratory of Prof. Ryuhei Nakamura seeks motivated individuals who are interested in conducting research on the origin of life and chemical evolution using either computational science, synthetic chemistry, polymer chemistry, microfluidics, spectroscopy, or electrochemistry. The researchers in this position will work on one of the following topics through the collaboration with other members in and outside the lab:
(1) Investigation of the properties of water molecule in nanoscale environments
(2) Synthesis of biology related macromolecules using microfluidic reactors Communication within the Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI), where the lab is located, is based on English.
For overseas researchers, the necessary support for their research activities in Japan is also fully provided.
